1. Who We Are

WonderBetter ("we", "us", "our") operates the Platform at wonderbetter.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use wonderbetter.com (the "Platform"), how we use it, and your rights over it. By using the Platform you agree to this policy.
2. Data We Collect

We do not collect payment card numbers, Aadhaar numbers, or any financial account information. We do not accept payments on this Platform.
3. How We Use Your Data
3.1
Contest administration: Processing entries, computing scores, maintaining the leaderboard, determining winners, and facilitating prize fulfilment.
3.2
Push notifications: If you grant permission, we send browser push notifications for match alerts, results, and contest reminders. We may use your profile information (state, gender) to send notifications relevant to you — for example, alerts tailored to your region or team. You can withdraw this permission at any time through your browser or device settings. Revoking permission does not delete any other account data.

Support communication: Responding to support queries and grievances. We do not send promotional SMS or WhatsApp messages without explicit opt-in.

Analytics & improvement: Understanding how users interact with the Platform to improve features, fix issues, and optimise content.
3.4
Affiliate ad measurement: We display Amazon affiliate product cards on the Platform. We measure impressions and clicks to assess product relevance. We do not share your personal identity with Amazon or affiliate partners — only aggregated, anonymised metrics.
3.5
Fraud prevention & security: Detecting and preventing bots, duplicate entries, or any attempt to manipulate contest outcomes.
3.6
Legal compliance: Retaining records as required by applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
4.1
We process your data on the following bases under applicable law:
Consent — You provide consent by registering and submitting a contest entry.
Contract — Processing necessary to run the contest you have entered.
Legitimate interests — Fraud prevention, product improvement, and affiliate ad measurement.
Legal obligation — Record-keeping required by Indian law.
5. Data Sharing
5.1
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5.2
We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the Platform (e.g., cloud hosting, database services, analytics). These providers are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions and to keep it secure.
5.3
Prize fulfilment: For IPL ticket or movie ticket prizes, we may share your name and contact details with ticketing platforms solely for the purpose of booking your prize. We will inform you before doing so.
5.4
We may disclose data if required to do so by law or by order of a competent court or government authority.
6. Cookies & Tracking
6.1
We use minimal, functional browser storage (localStorage) to remember your session, contest state, and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
6.2
Affiliate product clicks redirect to Amazon via standard affiliate links. Amazon may set their own cookies on their site as per their privacy policy. WonderBetter has no control over Amazon's data practices.
6.3
We may use anonymised, aggregated analytics (e.g., page views, session counts) to understand usage patterns. No personal identifiers are included in these reports.
7. Data Retention
7.1
Contest entry data (predictions, scores, rankings) is retained for 12 months after the end of the IPL season in which the contest took place, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7.2
Account data (name, phone number) is retained for as long as you have an active account on the Platform. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
7.3
Support and grievance communications are retained for 24 months for dispute resolution purposes.
8. Your Rights
8.1
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you.
8.2
You have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
8.3
You have the right to delete your data. Note that deletion of your account will result in forfeiture of any pending contest entries or unclaimed prizes.
8.4
You have the right to withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
8.5
To exercise any of these rights, write to admin@casekaro.com with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days.
9. Data Security
9.1
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your data.
9.2
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
9.3
No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
10.1
WonderBetter is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will delete their data promptly.
11. Grievance Officer
11.1
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, a Grievance Officer has been appointed:

12. Changes to This Policy
12.1
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
